Ankom is being designed to share meaningful arrival and departure events—not a continuous view of where you are.
Your places
Your saved places and sharing records use Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services. People only see a place after you explicitly invite them and they accept.
Your location
Location access lets your iPhone monitor the place boundaries you create. Ankom does not provide other people with a live-location feed.
Your control
You can pause places, mute notifications, change recipients, or stop sharing. More detailed policy information will be published before the app launches.
